Here a little about the work of this great Brazilian artist:
Nita Saideles is an artist who has been active in the Brazilian and international scene since the 80's, currently residing in Florianópolis SC. An artist educator, she works on various social projects in Brazil and abroad.
She was recently invited to participate in the Junifest event organized by Casa do Brasil, in Vaduz/ Licheinstain (2020), due to the Pandemic the event was cancelled. Nita was going to give workshops and honor the activist Patrícia Fittipaldi, who has an NGO in Brazil that takes care of abused animals. Nita painted a picture called FADA, a stylized portrait of Patrícia, founder of the NGO Santuario das Fadas. The work is acrylic on canvas and belongs to the Raízes Brasileiras project by Nita faces Brasil , which was painted for various exhibitions of the artist's works scheduled in Europe (2020/cancelled due to the pandemic).
The work was donated to the Fairy Sanctuary to raise funds for the institution.
